NMSR's Science Watch runs on AM 1350 Progressive Talk on Saturdays at 2PM, after the News. The conversations are live, and phone lines are open during the show (338-4090). It is hosted by New Mexicans for Science and Reason (NMSR). Every week, we tackle the Top Science News of the Week, engage your minds with a science Trivia question, discuss the latest Media Fumbles, track those wacky creationists in Creation Corner, and have an extended discussion on the Main Event, the topic for the week.
Recent in-studio and live-remote guests have included Pedro Irigonegaray (Kansas attorney), Marshall Berman (physicist/former school board member), Alan Hale (co-discoverer of the Hale-Bopp Comet), Lisa "FireBall" Durkin (science teacher), Wolfgang Elston (UNM Vulcanologist), Tim Moy (UNM science historian), Al Zelicoff (maverick physicist/physician), John Fleck (Alb.
